The Tramex MRH3 is a non-destructive, digital moisture meter for measuring & evaluating moisture content instantly in building materials such as wood, plaster, drywall, brick, roofing. The MRH3 features a plug in port for optional wood pin type probes or Relative Humidity probes for Ambient Relative Humidity, Temperature, Dew Point, and Humidity Ratio of the environment and building materials.
The MRH3 operates on the principal of non-destructive impedance measurement. Co-planar electrodes are fitted on the base of the instrument from which low frequency signals are transmitted into the material under test, measuring the change in impedance caused by the presence of moisture. This reading is translated by the instrument into a moisture content reading.
When the Tramex Hygro-i2 ® relative humidity probe is plugged into the MRH3, it automatically changes to Hygrometer Mode. The Tramex Hygro-i2 ® provides the ideal solution for measurements of ambient relative humidity, temperature and dew point conditions within the building structure and in structural materials such as concrete flooring, walls etc.
When the Tramex RH probe is plugged into the MRH III, the instrument automatically changes to hygrometer mode. The Tramex RH probe provides the ideal solution for measurement of humidity, temperature and dew-point in structural materials such as concrete flooring, walls etc., as well as the environmental conditions within the building or structure.
Heavy-duty Pin-type Wood Probe with Cable and Pins for use with CMEX2, MRH3 & PTM.
This complete moisture and humidity testing kit features the multifunctional Tramex MRH III digital moisture meter allowing for non-invasive testing of moisture conditions in numerous building materials such as drywall, wood, plaster, brick, ceramic tiles, resilient flooring, laminates and roofing.
Tramex moisture meters are designed to locate elevated moisture & humidity conditions, which may be conducive to mold, microbial growth and wood destroying organisms. These damp conditions can often be hidden within or behind a material such as drywall and not obvious from visual inspection without the help of a non-destructive moisture meter. Once the moisture source is identified and stopped, remedial action can be taken leading to a healthier building environment. This compact moisture and humidity testing kit features the multifunctional Tramex MRH III digital moisture meter allowing for non-invasive testing of moisture conditions in numerous building materials such as drywall, wood, plaster, brick, ceramic tiles, resilient flooring, laminates and roofing. The MRH III and reusable Ambient Relative Humidity Hygro-i2 Short Probe allow for testing relative humidity, temperature and dew point in the environment. The heavy-duty pin-probes measure moisture content in wood, and the insulated 200mm pins allow for deep wall cavity probing. Concrete slab in situ relative humidity testing can also be performed with the reusable relative humidity probe and enclosed hole liners.
A complete kit featuring the RWS Roof & Wall Scanner for instant, non-destructive evaluation of moisture conditions deep within wall and roofing systems.
