The Tramex Concrete Coating kits offer instant, non-destructive moisture measuring instruments to verify that both the moisture content of the slab and the ambient relative humidity conditions are perfect to ensure proper application & adhesive of coating products.
Even if previously executed test results show that the floor meets the ‘dry enough’ standards, it is recommended to carry out a final concrete moisture test at the time of application. A change in ambient conditions can cause dew point issues which in turn can lead to condensation and finally resulting in floor failure.
Both kits offer top quality, non-destructive concrete moisture meters providing instant and accurate moisture content readings in the top layer of the concrete slab. Ambient RH and surface thermometers can indicate potential dew point issues. The Tramex Meters App allows for moisture and RH readings to be made into moisture maps and saved into reports.
